Montreal,
March 20, 2007 - SET Canada, the Equipment,
Technology and Services Exhibition for
the food distribution industry in Canada,
is set to open its second edition March
28, 29 and 30, 2007. The event is reserved
for industry professionals only, and the
venue is the Palais des congrès
de Montréal convention center.
On a 28,000 square
feet of exhibition floor, nearly 65 exhibitors
from Canada and the U.S. confirmed to
showcase their products and services to
Canadian food retail professionals and
the 27,000 retail outlets they represent.
In the quick span of three days, distributors
will be able to meet new suppliers and
find new products in a variety of areas,
including: equipment, technologies, packaging,
non food products, beauty/hygiene/health
solutions, retail concepts and services.
Visitors will include
corporate buyers from big box stores,
supermarkets, club-type outlets and convenience
stores, and also from affiliated stores,
franchise points if sale, food cooperatives,
as well as the actual owners of retail
operations, representatives from specialty
shops and department managers.
